Museum Church of Saint John the Baptist in Acitrezza

Welcome to this guided tour! You are in front of the Church of Saint John the Baptist in Acitrezza. We will talk about the most important church of this joyful seaside resort and its peculiarities, focusing in particular on its complex and intricate history and on the traditions related to it.

This tour was realized as part of the National Civil Service Project 2020-2021, coordinated by UNPLI Sicily, with the volunteers of the Pro Loco of Acicastello. The following worked on this project: Carmeci Michela, Adornetto Ilenia, Cannizzaro Carmelo Dario, Vitale Antonio, Belfiore Aurora Federica, Calabrese Fabiana, Genovese Fabiana, Longo Gaia, Marano Giulia, Mauro Giorgio, Privitera Maria Giovanna, Valastro Aurora. The project was reviewed by the president of the Pro Loco Pellegrino Massimo.
