Acerca del museo

As the relationship between humanity and environment has become a major theme in today’s world, this exhibition offers an insight into the heart of nature as expressed by the Genevan jeweller Gilbert Albert (1930-2019). It sets the work of this creative artist within the history of modern jewelling, showcasing the unique character of his works and his own strong personality. Close to one hundred of his pieces bring forth his unmistakable style. Combining materials inspired by earth, sky and sea contributes to the making of unique jewellery which is characterized by its graphism, shimmering colors, and originality of design. Also on display are fifty more pieces from other designers in the MAH collections, bringing new light to shared stylistic influences : the purpose is less about reproducing nature than celebrating its miracles.
