À propos du musée

Created in 1974 to present Luxembourg viticulture and promote its production, the Maison et Musée du vin is housed in a vineyard complex of the 18th and 19th century.

Located in the heart of the village of Ehnen, this historic complex is today classified as a national monument.

The museum currently closed for renovation, intended to house the future Centre Mosellan in 2023.
The new project aims to make the site an interpretation center for the Luxembourg wine world: from the landscape to the men and women who work there, from the vineyard to the cellar, from the challenges of today to the prospects of tomorrow.

During the works the tourist information office and bicycle rental - Rentabike - remain open. In addition, the Work in Progress exhibition invites you to discover the future Centre Mosellan.

Did you know that at the Centre Mosellan visitors can taste "State wine"? This wine is a quality production made by the Institut vitivinicole of Remich with grapes harvested in state-owned vineyards.

This is a unique privilege since this wine, intended primarily for the Grand Ducal Court and Luxembourg embassies around the world, is not available on the market.
