As a passionate and dedicated Youth Development Officer, and experienced arts worker, I am deeply involved in creative endeavours.
At the heart of my practice lies a commitment to exploring the intricate tapestry of human experience, emotions and the natural world. My work transcends traditional boundaries, merging various mediums to create pieces that not only tell a story but also evoke a deep, personal connection with the audience. I view art as a dialogue, a dynamic interaction between the artist, the artwork and the observer.
I utilise a diverse range of mediums, including but not limited to, painting, photography, digital media, soundscapes and mixed media installations. Each medium is chosen to best convey the thematic elements of the piece.
My art is deeply rooted in themes of identity, nature, and transformation. I draw from personal experiences, historical contexts, and the natural world, weaving these elements into my work to create a rich, multi-layered narrative. This thematic diversity allows me to explore different facets of the human condition, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences and perceptions.
The creative process begins with extensive research and reflection, I delve into various sources of inspiration, from literature, mythology to current events and family history.
Community engagement is a cornerstone of my practice. I believe that art has the power to bring people together, foster understanding and inspire change. Through my profession, Creative Engineer projects, competitions, workshops, public art projects and education programs, I strive to make art accessible and encourage others to explore their own creative potential,
