Vitaly Borovik (born at 1949), professor of the Arts Academy, is a representative of the modern St.Petersburg painting. Painting from life and academic drawing are the main principles of his creativity and his teaching practice.

V. Borovik has been studying in the Arts Academy under the guidance of A.Mylnikov and then he became an academic in the same University himself.

The delicate chords of colors and the grace of lines, the tranquility of compositions, the freedom of light and air are the identities of Borovik's artworks.
