Audio tour Viacheslav FEDOROV

Viacheslav Fedorov (1918-1985) - Honored Painter of Russia, master of landscape, successor of the Russian impressionism. He was born in Ivanovo-Voznesensk, a town where the painting traditions are closely connected with textile patterns. Wounded in the II War, he arrived in Leningrad and entered the Repin Art Institute where he studied in the studio of B.Iohanson. Boris Iohanson has been an apprentice of the grand painter Konstantin Korovin – and you can notice his impact in the Fedorov’s art.
