This itinerary is almost a mini compendium of the artistic wealth of the Euganean Hills, which were historically connected to Venice through navigable canals. On this itinerary you will see Praglia Abbey, Villa Vescovi, Catajo Castle, the Battaglia Canal and Montegrotto Spa, one of the ancient Roman spas in Northern Italy. All this and of course the splendid countryside, with its infinite array of natural wonders.

    Difficulty: average-easy

    Length: 31 kilometres

Time: approximately 3 hours 30 minutes

Where to leave: From the station of Terme Euganee-Abano-Montegrotto. We suggest checking the train time table for transporting your bikes. For those coming by car, there are several car parks (some paying) near the station. The itinerary does not have any particularly difficult sections apart from that which leads to Luvigliano and Villa dei Vescovi. There are many places along the way to stop and try local produce.
