Halls of "Ancient Belarus" displays objects that give an idea of the historical development of Belarus from forty thousand years ago to early nineteenth century.
This historical period is presented in several stages:
"Primeval age": Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age (showcases 1-10);
"The Middle Ages, the first principalities" (showcases 10-16);
"The period of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania" (showcases 17-18);
"The Grand Duchy of Lithuania within the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth" (showcases 19-24).
A separate section - "Culture of Belarus from sixteenth to early nineteenth century" (Podium 25, showcases 26-28)
