Discovering El Pont de Suert means being seduced by its surroundings. Walking around the river will allow you to know a little about the history of the capital of Alta Ribagorça.

We invite you to enjoy, on foot or by bike, this emblematic and special place that characterizes our town.

The Pont de Suert means "Bridgeof  Bridge" and this is what we find in the town, a series of bridges that will make you enjoy different walking routes along the Noguera Ribagorçana river.

In the past, the river Noguera Ribagorçana was saved by a suspension bridge, known as La Palanca, the only surviving element is the stone pillar near the Casa del Ponter. The bridge was destroyed by a flood in 1963.

Over the years we can cross this river that territorially separates Catalonia from Aragon by four bridges.
