关于博物馆

Tashkent Polytechnic Museum
The Tashkent Polytechnic Museum was established in November 2015 at the initiative of JSC "UzAutoSanoat".
The museum has two floors:

On the first floor, you can learn about the history of automobile engineering in general and the development of the automotive industry in Uzbekistan in particular.
The second floor, or the "Interactive Workshop", allows visitors to gain knowledge about the world through practical experiments.

Department of World Automotive History
The first floor is nominally divided into two thematic zones — "Retro" and "Modern".
In the Retro zone, you will not only discover the history of transportation, starting with the invention of the wheel, but also see unique exhibits in real life, including a model of the first car.
This exhibition also features historical foreign cars such as the Volkswagen Beetle (Germany), Chevrolet Bel Air (USA), Chaika (USSR), and many others.

Department of Automotive History of Uzbekistan
The Modern zone presents the history of Uzbekistan's automotive industry in detail.
Here, you will find a wide display of JSC "UzAutoSanoat" vehicles — from the Damas to the Chevrolet Tracker 2023.
A special highlight for young visitors is a completely disassembled Spark, showing every tiny part.
Also on display are the first Uzbek Matiz and Spark cars, signed by the First President of Uzbekistan, as well as the one-millionth car produced — a Lacetti.

Prominent large-scale models also illustrate the activities of automobile factories such as UzAutoMotors, SamAuto, UzTBM, and UzAutoPowertrain.

Visitors can also explore unique exhibits created by students of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, including:

the "Kinetic Balls" installation, where balls descend from the ceiling to form various shapes to music,
a "3D Mapping Show" that turns a white car into a colorful artwork, and
a hologram showing the evolution of transportation.

Scientific and Interactive Exhibition
On the second floor, visitors will find scientific and interactive exhibits that are particularly engaging for children.
Here, you can:

catch an electric current,
send a ball into a hoop using an air stream,
step into an upside-down room, or
explore the universe with the help of a planetarium.
