This audiotour will take you on a journey through the naturalistic and cultural heritage of the province of Livorno. This stretch of coast is famous around the world for its beautiful landscapes, its beaches and its rocky cliffs, its medieval towns, its tradition of high quality food and wine, and its millennia-old history.
In order to enhance the accessibility and the visibility of the cultural and natural heritage sites, an integrated System of Museums and Parks of the Livorno Province was established in 2003. The System, headed by the Museum of Natural History of the Mediterranean, includes art galleries, natural history and ethnography museums, archaeological and archaeominerary parks and museums spread throughout the territory. Our audioguide offers you the perfect way to gain an informed appreciation for these wonderful places, exploring the sites at your own pace and according to your own interests.
