Join us on a journey through the visions, works, and inventions of the universal genius Leonardo da Vinci.

When one hears the sonorous name Leonardo da Vinci, one usually thinks of the world-famous oil paintings from the height of the Renaissance. The Mona Lisa or even the Last Supper. But there is so much more. He was an artist, pioneer, visionary, and inventor.

An extraordinary journey through the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci awaits visitors.

The exhibition showcases da Vinci's visionary engineering skills. Using authentic exhibits and sketches, visitors can experience his ideas for flying machines, hydraulic weapons, and complex transmission systems firsthand. Interactive stations make the fundamental mechanical and hydraulic principles that form the basis for many modern technologies tangible.

The exhibition explores how da Vinci's curiosity and his method of observation, simulation, and further thinking continue to inspire engineering and design processes today. Many of the inventions we take for granted today—from the airplane to the automobile—have their origins in the concepts of this 15th-century genius.

The exhibition is an opportunity to awaken fascination with this genius whose ideas continue to expand technological horizons today.

    Sehr schöne Ausstellung. Liebevoll arrangiert. Die Beschreibungen sind inhaltlich gut aufbereitet.. Der Audioguide hilft die Eindrücke zu verstärken. Eine Ausstellung die man gerne besucht. Absolut Empfehlenswert !

    dass Leonardo nach Esch kommt, ist schon ein Hammer. Die Ausstellung ist leicht zu erreichen und der Veranstaltungsort mehr als nur angemessen. Die Exponate geben ein Überblick über den Genius von Leonardo da Vinci. Das ganze ausgezeichnet in Scene gesetzt. der Audio geil ist klasse aber wenn man das Glück hat, eine Führung von Herrn Leidens zu bekommen, ist es deutlich besser. Dieser erklärt mit viel Leidenschaft die Ausstellungsstücke. Hervorragend top!
