关于博物馆
This guided tour of the Louvre with the Bible crosses the beautiful Department of Egyptian antiquities .
The journey follows the classic direction with movement room by room. It begins with the ditches of the medieval Louvre then the crypt of the Sphinx, crosses the rooms on the ground floor then the first floor and ends with room 663 of Etruscan antiquities. More than 60 works and objects which have a biblical link are thus commented on.
The Bible proves to be a relevant guide for deciphering parts of the history of antiquity.
During this journey, we will see how much the belief in the immortality of the soul permeated the life of the Egyptians, we will find the symbol of the cross, of the trinity, and we will have the opportunity with the papyrus to talk about the transmission of the biblical text.
We will walk in the footsteps of Abraham, Jacob and Moses and we will experience the tribulations of Joseph who lived almost 100 years in this country.
Certainly an original biblical journey which invites us to visit the Louvre in a unique way. Do not hesitate to download this link now for a visit at home on the site, or better, in the rooms of the Louvre.
Enjoy your visit everyone!
