Around the canal bearing the same name which flows through the town, a complex hydraulic interweave of bridges, mills, locks, dams, canals and syphon vaults developed. In only a few kilometers, this itinerary will allow you to appreciate the spirit of a land which nurtured a rich nautical tradition.
Difficulty: easy
Length: 3.5 km
Time: approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes
Where to leave: from the Museum of River Navigation where parking is available. Otherwise, Battaglia Terme can be reached by train (Padua-Bologna), where you can leave from the station. For museum information and opening times: www.museonavigazione.eu
