博物馆 Saint-Petersburg dolls museum

Hello! We are glad to welcome you in Saint-Petersburg dolls museum. It was established in 1998 and it is one of the non-state museums in Russia.

Our exposition is constantly supplemented with modern author’s dolls and antique dolls. All the author’s dolls are unique. There are designers, who are famous in many countries or well-known only in a narrow circle, young artists from the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy, designers, who come to our museum for work and perform their creative feat according to schedule, among the authors of our dolls. Our museum is really democratic in arrangement of the exhibits: dolls live in showcases according to subject, not to their material values or their author’s ranks.

Every showcase is complete performance, which is sincere, kind and harmonious. You can see hall of Fairy-tales and Forest kingdom, gallery of Russian tzars and hall of brilliant Saint-Petersburg history.
