The Sochi 2014 Olympic venues are concentrated in two areas that differ substantially in terms of their climatic conditions and natural setting:
• The Coastal Cluster (Olympic Park)
• The Mountain Cluster (Krasnaya Polyana)
The Olympic Park:
• The Fisht Olympic Stadium (with capacity for 40,000 seats)
• The Bolshoy Ice Dome for ice hockey events (with capacity for 12,000 seats)
• The Shayba Arena for ice hockey events (with capacity for 7,000 seats)
• The Ice Cube Curling Center for curling events (with capacity for 3,000 seats)
• The Iceberg Skating Palace for figure skating and short track speed skating events (with capacity for 12,000 seats)
• The Adler Arena Skating Center for speed skating events (with capacity for 8,000 seats)
Krasnaya Polyana:
• The Laura Cross-Country Ski and Biathlon Center for cross-country skiing, biathlon and Nordic combined events (with capacity for 7,500 seats) (biathlon and ski complexes)
• The Rosa Khutor Complex, consisting of the Rosa Khutor Alpine Center and Rosa Khutor Extreme Park, for skiing, snowboarding and freestyle events, with a combined capacity for 17,750 seats. This venue is unique in that it has a single finish line for all ski-related events
• The RusSki Gorki Jumping Center for ski jumping events (with capacity for 7,500 seats)
• The Sanki Sliding Center for bobsled, skeleton and luge events (with capacity for 5,000 seats)
• The Endurance Village at Psekhako Ridge with an intended capacity of 1,100 seats
• The Mountain Olympic Media Village and Auxiliary Media Center at the Gorki Gorod Apart-Hotel all-season resort - 1 Fisht Olympic Stadium
