Painting master Eduard Isabekyan is considered one of the brightest phenomena in Soviet Armenian book graphics. Isabekyan's book art is in harmony with masterpieces of Soviet Armenian literature (Derenik Demirchyan's "Vardanank", Sero Khanzadyan's "Mkhitar Sparapet", Hovhannes Tumanyan's "David of Sassoun", Vahagn Davtyan's "Tondraketsy", Gabriel Sundukyan's "Selected", Metakse's "Shamiram").
Illustrations of Isabekyan's success in the field of Soviet graphic art are illustrations of Demirchyan's "Vardanank" and Khanzadyan's "Mkhitar Sparapet" novels, where the author sought to solve internal problems rather than external effects.
