ESMA was one of the over 750 Clandestine Detention, Torture and Extermination Centers implanted by the last argentinian civilian-military dictatorship, between the years 1976 and 1983.
In this place, crimes against humanity were committed, which are being investigated and taken to trial in federal courts in the present days.
