From the earliest Antiquity, the hill of Fourvière – the praying hill – is the centre of the spiritual and cultural life in Lyons. It is in Fourvière that the early Christians expressed their faith – Saint Pothin was martyred there –, placing themselves under the protection of Mary from the beginning.

It's an exceptional guide, one of the best I've ever heard.

It’s a very interesting guide and definitely worth doing once in the cathedral. But I think that some alegorations were difficult to find, so better detailed informations could’ve been given.
