Aperçu de l'audioguide
We invite you to walk together through Jewish Chisinau. You have probably heard about the Kishinev pogrom, which was not only a turning point in Jewish history.
On April 6-7, 1903, a mob, fueled by anti-Semitic propaganda and rumors of a blood libel, carried out a massacre unprecedented to that time.
49 Jews were killed and 586 wounded, dozens of women were raped, and more than 1,500 buildings were damaged and looted.
But we would like to expand your knowledge and take you through the surviving sites of Kishinev's 600 years of Jewish history.
