    On 6th December 1985, Petra was designated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site, describing it as "one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage". On 7th July 2007, Petra was declared the winner of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Do you know this was the WORLD'S FIRST-EVER GLOBAL VOTING CAMPAIGN? Yes, it was held for the first time in history that spanned over 7 years in which 100 million people voted. In the same year, 2007, Petra was officially designated as Petra Archaeological Park.

    we loved it! it starts playing automatically as you walk by places. it made our Petra experience super enjoyable and we were sped up by an impatient guide. 😊

    I don't think this is a good idea, people are working there to rescue their families from poverty, this is greedy way of some kind of people to control works and to destroy other's communities by steeping over the their business. Otherwise the locals are the only knowledgeable people about their places. it's not an enjoyable source of knowledge as the infos might be mistaken furthermore the sense of sharing knowledge is not exist.
