Musée Museum of Giovanni Verga's House

Verga was the most important exponent of  “Verism”. We can surely consider him a precious figure within European literature. His works bring to our mind those of Zolà, Tolstoj, Dickens and Mark Twain. When visiting his house, you not only get to know Verga better, but in addition you are able to explore Sicilian society of the 19th century and the beginning of the last one.

The following guide was realized within the project “Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro” and the subject was : “Verga’s House as a resource to exploit its cultural heritage”.

The work was carried out by class 4D of Liceo Classico “Spedalieri” of Catania and the Regional Pole for the Cultural Sites of Catania.
