The creative road of German Samarin is closely connected with Saint Petersburg. He dedicated lots of his wroks to the heroic theme of the Leningrad's siege.
Samarin gratuated the painting faculty of the Repin Art Institute and then he continued to learn the painting craft in the Art School of USSR Academy of Arts under the guidance of V.Oreshnikov. The painting ways of V.Serov and Rembrandt always were the guideline for him.
