Welcome to El Badi Palace, one of Marrakech's most magnificent historical treasures. My name is [Your Guide Name], and I'll be your audio companion as we explore the ruins of what was once called "The Wonder of the World."
As you stand at the entrance, take a moment to imagine this site 400 years ago. What you see today as impressive ruins was once a palatial complex of unimaginable splendor, built by the Saadian Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur in the late 16th century.
The name "El Badi" means "The Incomparable" in Arabic, and you'll soon understand why this palace earned such a grand title.
