Audio tour Art of the Basin: An Artistic Rendering of Northwest Wyoming

"Art of the Basin" is on view at the Meeteetse Museums until December 5, 2020. The show was juried by Karen McWhorter, Scarlett Curator of Western American Art for the Whitney Western Art Museum at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, and Vic Payne, well known sculptor. Thanks to Cody Ace Hardware, the Wea Market of Meeteetse, and Treasured Memories, we were able to award cash prizes to our first, second and third place winners.

Cody Ace Hardware generously donated the cash prize of $500 for our first place winner "Encampment at Ramshorn" by Paul Kethley. The second place prize of $250 donated by the Wea Market of Meeteetse was awarded to "Crossing the Divide" by Larry Edgar. The third place prize of $100 was awarded to "Wyoming's Flower" by Rhonda Schmeltzer. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to our sponsors for their generous donations allowing us to support community artists.
