We are on the ground floor of the General Library of Ciudad Real, accessible from Camilo José Cela Avenue. At the entrance, we are welcomed by the Information desk, where our colleagues will answer general enquiries about university services, locations, etc.

The corridor on the left leads first to the group work rooms and the multi-purpose room with vending machines for drinks and snacks. Next, we find the newspaper and media library area on the left and the reference room on the right, which currently includes the free access collection that was previously located at the Higher Technical School of Agricultural Engineers of Ciudad Real.

Going back to the Information desk, to the right we find the OPACs, the staircase that gives access to the upper floors, the loan desk, the group work rooms and the areas reserved to the computer and administrative services of the University.

The library's regular opening hours are from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm, from Monday to Friday. There is also a special schedule, with more opening hours during exam periods, including weekends.

Remember that in order to access the library you must belong to our university community or be in possession of a temporary card, which is issued to people over 18 years of age, upon request, online or in person at the loan desk.
