The Newark (Delaware) History Museum explores the history and culture of Newark, Delaware from the time before it was chartered by King George II of England in 1758 to today. The museum is housed in the 1877 Philadelphia, Wilmington & Baltimore Train Depot, located at 429 South College Avenue under the railroad overpass, on the north side of the tracks. The museum is open on Sundays from 2 pm to 5 pm, April through November. Admission and parking is free. A large number of the museum exhibits are changed annually, so even if you have visited before you can see and learn something new.
