The Torion Path in Vezza d'Alba winds along the cultivated plain of the Rio Borbore and leads to the impervious slopes of a coppice wood: between chestnut and downy oaks you can admire the castles and rural chapels of Roero that overlook the Tanaro river. The vineyards clinging to the ridges give way to the Torion, the curious hexagonal building bombed during the Second World War which towers from the top of the "Castellero" hill and which gives the path its name.

Il sentiero del Torion parte da Borbore, frazione di Vezza d'Alba e inizialmente, per 3 km si sviluppa in piano, seguendo la piana in direzione Canale. Ad un bivio con indicazioni chiarissime si svolta a dx e si sale il pendio fra le vigne fino ad introdursi in un bel bosco di castagni. In breve si raggiunge la sommità ( colletto dei pastori) dal quale si ha una bella vista su Castellinaldo, Vezza e tutto il Roero. Proseguendo in costa si arriva al Torion che era un ciabot delle vigne.
