Museo The Volyn Regional Museum audioguide

The Volyn Regional Museum is the main museum of Volyn, the largest and the oldest of the existing museums of the region. It was opened on June 16, 1929 in Lutsk as the Volyn Museum. 
In 1940, the regional history and ethnography museum was organized on the basis of the institution. During the Second World War, the museum's collection suffered significant losses, but in 1944, immediately after the ejection of Nazi invaders from the Volyn region, the museum resumed its work as the Volyn Regional Museum. On August 17, 1985, it was set up in a new building in the center of Lutsk.
