Mountainous Adjara is picturesque, though for visiting all the sites along the route, its necessary to withstand winding roads for whole day. The tour also may combine 1-2 km hike in Village Tago.

Description

This is a full-day mountainous Adjara trip to picturesque village Tago or Ghorjomi. In principle both villages can be visited in one trip, though Ghorjomi is a bit further. Make sure not to miss a cable car for getting to Tago village that has some scenic view points and to allocate for this visit 1- 1.5 hours towards village’s scenic viewpoint. 

In principle, all highlights can be visited during a whole day trip though, if decided so, do not spend too much time on one place. Do not miss a cable car ride from Khulo to village Tago and later possibly a short hike to its scenic viewpoint. Skipping village Ghorjomi can allow more time for a visit in Tago, though its enchanting wooden mosque in a picturesque setting is a highlight that better not be missed and is a highlight of Georgia’s Muslim cultural heritage.

The tour also involves highlights on the road that are not connected to tour route line. They can be visited depending on preference but to cover all of them will require much more time.
