The trip begins in Batumi and follows East West Highway towards Kutaisi. From Ureki, a small settlement in Guria, the tour continues in a loop and covers Georgia’s two regions - Imereti and Samegrelo. There tour incorporates both architectural and nature sites such as world heritage site Gelati, former world heritage site Bagrati, nature beauties – Martvili canyon, Prometheus cave and Okatse waterfall/hanging cliff trail.
Depending on the time spent at each highlights, the tour can be extended from one to three days. On average, the tour is feasible to complete in 2 days. Those with children replacing Prometheus Cave with Sataplia Cave is advised.
