The Museum of Vice Admiral Georgy Kholostyakov was established at school No. 9 in Baranovichi in 1989. Our main goal is to save the memory of the great sailor who was born in our city. Kholostyakov stood at the foundations of the creation of the submarine fleet, led long-range autonomous campaigns and conducted innovative tests. During the Second World War, he became famous for the heroic defense of Novorossiysk. He was awarded the Orders of Lenin, Suvorov, Ushakov. He is the Hero of the Soviet Union. In our museum you can see unique exhibits, immerse yourself in a real marine atmosphere.
