At Zandsculpturen Garderen on the Veluwe, you step into a wonderful world where words come to life and your imagination runs wild! This year, the exhibition is themed 'BOOKS', a theme that has inspired the artists to create the most beautiful sand sculptures. Wander through the impressive sand library and be enchanted by beautifully depicted stories from various genres, including children's books, literature, and fairy tales.

Books of all shapes and sizes

Learn the letters of the alphabet in the classroom, delve into old school books of arithmetic, language, and geography, and then walk to the large sand library. There, the route takes you past various different topics. Think of Travel, Art & Culture, People & Society, (Non-)Fiction, Novels, True Stories, Reference Works, Entertainment, and Detective stories. Plenty of attention is also paid to children's and comic books, just like in a real library. One thing is certain! During this exhibition, where you'll encounter over a hundred sand sculptures, both young and old will be amazed. In short: a beautiful and even educational outing for the whole family!

A special day out

The entire park is beautifully decorated with decoration materials and stunning murals. But that's not all! The makers of 'De Grote Tuinverbouwing', the greenest television program in the Netherlands, will soon ensure that the outdoor area is transformed into a colorful sea of ​​flowers so that all sand sculptures come even more to life. After viewing all the sand sculptures, you can leisurely gather garden ideas on the grounds of the Sculpture Garden. Or enjoy a delicious lunch or high tea indoors or on the terrace at Lunchroom de Rozentuin. In this charming lunchroom, you will be served by, among others, people with intellectual disabilities. Feel like shopping a bit more? In the two-story home store spanning over 1300 square meters, you'll find everything for in and around the house.
