woman (Sicilian Juliet?), who comes to Sciacca for love’s sake, then she inherited the city
for, being the daughter of Count Roger of Hauteville.
Thanks to her three splendid churches were edificated: “S.Nicolò la Latina”, “Chiesa delle
Giummare”, and “Chiesa Madre” (Mother Church).
The path begins from the “Rocca della Regina” (commercial port) and continues in the
centre with the visit of the three churches and “Cortile Chiodi”, rare vestige of the old castle
