Введение The city of Tito Schipa

The audio guide was written, translated and recorded by Matteo Bacca, Juli Ippolito and Matilde Miglietta of class II E of the Liceo Classico and Musicale G. Palmieri of Lecce during the PCTO directed by Swapmuseum. The PCTO is part of the activities of the Swapmuseum "Il tango di Tito" project, winner of the Programma Straordinario in materia di cultura e spettacolo per l'anno 2020, of the Department of Tourism and Cultural Industry, Department of Tourism, Economics of Culture and Valorisation del Territorio, Economy of Culture Section of the Puglia Region with the collaboration of the Schipa Carluccio Archive, ASD Beltango Lecce, LaFabbrica - Museo delle Tabacchine of Campi Salentina, Factory Company and Musical Association Opera Prima.

The project, consistent with the vocation of the Swapmuseum association, intends to bring young students closer to the history, career, and musical work of the great Lecce tenor Tito Schipa, creating on this occasion a permanent path usable through a georeferenced app in the places of the cantors present in the city.
