This excursion is for Individuals who want to explore Georgia's Svaneti region from Kutaisi. Most of the trip is on paved but twisting road. Mestia - Ushguli - Lentekhi stretch is a rough surface. Whoever wants to avoid it, return the same route travelled from Kutaisi to Mestia via Enguri HPS.
While Mestia – Ushguli - Lentekhi stretch is a twisting road on unpaved surface, it is an unforgettable experience. If health, courage and age permits, we strongly advise to return by it. Besides return by this stretch, the tour becomes circular.
Description
The trip starts in Kutaisi and makes a loop trip around Svaneti. The suggested first day overnight is in Mestia and the second - in Ushguli. The third day follows unpaved Ushguli - Lentekhi stretch which is difficult to pass but without a doubt less traveled and one of the most scenic roads in Georgia.
If done quickly and by excluding some of the less important highlights, the tour can also be accommodated in 2 days.
Depending on time, we also included highlights such as Martvili Canyon, Martvili Monastery and Prometheus Cave, that can also be included in the visit depending on the allocated time for excursion.
