The Old Colonists’ Association of Ballarat, colloquially known as the Old Col’s Club, is situated in the heart of the Ballarat CBD in the beautifully endowed historical Lydiard Street precinct, part of a grand legacy of 19th century gold rush prosperity. For the visitor today, the Ballarat Old Colonists is not a re-enactment of past traditions but a living time capsule of Victorian architecture and ideals.
