Approached under cover of yew trees and sitting next to its manor house, St Nicholas’ Church, Brockley is a quintessentially English parish church. This free audio tour offers three different themed tours for you to enjoy. Meet the family that restored the church, giving it much of its present atmosphere, explore the stories told by the stained glass windows or discover Brockley's folk stories that have stood the test of time.

    I enjoyed this guided tour: the speaker knew his stuff, speaking clearly and with a sense of engagement and quiet humour. The information was well chosen, well balanced, informative and interesting, from the human story of the family, the architecture and art to the more detailed stories of the stained glass windows. A good idea well delivered. The pictures were very good, clear and I liked the different viewing options. Thank you.
