Audiotur II floor of the palace

The second floor of the palace impresses with its interior. The collections of the Shchusev Russian Museum of Architecture contain plans for the second and third floors of the Palace of Kyrylo Rozumovskyi (explication in French and Russian) with the author's signature “designed by architect Cameron”. The interiors of the second floor of the Palace were recreated according to this plan and other works by Charles Cameron.

Baturyn has been a symbol of the state and nation, a cultural center of the Hetmanate for 53 years. And today, a single Hetman's Palace comprehensively reveals a glorious page of our history. Therefore, on the second floor, in the solemn halls of the Hetman's Palace, the exhibition focuses on the era of Hetmanate, Baturyn at the time of Hetman's ruling and prominent figures who fought for the independence of our state – hetmans, military and religious leaders.
