The Newark Post newspaper has been serving the Newark, Delaware community since January 1910. In 2020 the Newark History Museum is celebrating the 110th anniversary of the Newark Post with an exhibit that covers the newspaper's history. This exhibit also explores the life of the newspaper's founder, Everett C. Johnson, who was also the founder of the Press of Kells. He was active in state politics, and championed the cause of a women's college in Delaware. He was also one of the principal fundraisers for the University of Delaware's Memorial Library to commemorate the lives of Delawareans lost in World War I.
