On April 6-7, 1903, a mob, fueled by anti-Semitic propaganda and rumors of a blood libel, carried out a massacre unprecedented to that time.
49 Jews were killed and 586 wounded, dozens of women were raped, and more than 1,500 buildings were damaged and looted.
But we would like to expand your knowledge and take you through the surviving sites of Kishinev's 600 years of Jewish history.
