The Cabinet of Physics, with over 2 miles machines and appliances preserved in their original furnishings, is the largest collection in Italy and one of the most complete in Europe, with regards to the study and teaching of physics in the second half of the nineteenth century.
Completely restored and open to the public, it now appears as a rare and unbelievable “time machine”, a mine of information and source of interest and wonder for visitors.
The scientific tools and machines are organized in their original arrangement, which means they are presented divided according to the branches of classical physics.
