Valentine Bernadsky (1917-2011) is a Russian painter, one of the founders of the modern Crimean painting school; the graduate of the Leningrad painting institute of Repin. The most of his life he spent on the Black sea coast that left its mark on the artist's world-view: you can see how its paintings are sunny and full of colors. Be it a landscape or still-life or genre painting -- Bernadsky offers it as one more colorful variation of the bright side of life.
