Opening times for the cathedral are from 8am to 6.45pm every day except Saturdays when it is closed between 12.30 and 2pm. The nearest metro stop is Cité. The visit begins in front of the cathedral by the two trees nearest the porches and lasts an hour, longer if you choose to visit the Cathedral’s Treasure House, its towers or the museum at number 10 rue du Cloître Notre Dame.
