关于博物馆
Kailasanathar temple is one of the oldest temples in Tamil Nadu and was built by the Pallava King Rajasimha around 1300 years ago.
It is built in the Dravidian style and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It has been the precursor to most of the Dravidian Temples. The temple is majestic and when looked from the front view, it looks like a chariot drawn by eight horses. The temple abounds with various forms of Shiva in the many niches which have been so lovingly done that they retain their original essence.
