Audio tour "L'Imagier Populaire"

Hansi styled himself as an Imagier Populaire. His intention is that his art becomes available to a broad public. Considering himself a "people's artist", he tries to connect with all the social classes in his books, from the simple man to the bourgeoisie. His publication Mon Village appears to be a boom for children but can also paradigmatically be understood as resistance against the German occupation. The secret message is the fight against Pan-Germanism.
