Audio tour Summary
There is no particular time of day we recommend you take this walk as the only church on the visit, Santa Maria in Aracoeli, is open every day from 6.30 am to 6.00 pm. The walk begins on Piazza Venezia. The closest underground stations are ‘Colosseo’ or ‘Cavour’ but these are still about 1 km from Piazza Venezia. There are, however, plenty of buses which go to the square.
