About the museum
Welcome to the audio guide dedicated to the Sanctuary of Sant'Agata al Carcere!!!
Together we will make an amazing journey through time and into the heart of Catania - between archeology and tradition, history and legend.
In fact, this small church, linked to the profound millenary devotion of the people of Catania towards their Martyr Patroness, is also an archaeological site and an incomparable treasure trove of art.

The Sanctuary is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 12.00. Guided tours, with a small contribution, are organized by the Etna 'ngeniousa Association
