Audio tour 17 - The orchard

You can have access to the orchard by going out of the outer bailey and walking by the moats. Have a look on your map if necessary.

There are about sixty dessert apple trees, this orchard comprises 27 various varieties of apple trees on about 1 hectare.

We can find for example Rambault apples, Reinettes, Red Calvilles, and Claque Pépins.

Apples are harvested between August and October. You are welcome to visit during this period to bring a basket and pick some.
