Audio tour 2. Exhibition «The memorial room of J.K.Paczoski»

I welcome you in the office of Jozef Konrad Paczoski, a world-renowned scientist-botanist who made a significant contribution to the development of science. He belongs to two cultures: Polish and Ukrainian. He was engaged in researches of vegetation cover both in Ukraine and in Poland. Moreover, in his time in both countries, he was the director of two biosphere reserves – Askania and Belavezha Forest. We remind you: if it were not for Jozef Paczoski, then there would not be our Museum of Nature in Kherson.
Look around, feel the creative atmosphere of the late 19th and early 20th centuries that prevails here. Take a look at the antique furniture, exhibits, herbarium samples. Pay attention to the bookcase in the corner: it is the original manuscripts with dedicatory inscriptions of friends and colleagues of the scientist that are stored in it.
